How to prepare English for Bank exams?

English language plays an important role in almost all the competitive job exams. Language proficiency has become an essential part of any candidature for which reason one should give full focus on learning it.

Reading is not an easy habit found these days in youths as it is time consuming and boring for them. But there is no shortcut to success. One has to devote time to read to understand the question. It is very essential to follow some tips to develop the habit of effective reading. These are given below:
Start with the less complicated books to read as it will help you generate interest in reading in case you do not like reading. Fix a time to finish the book reading process so that you can monitor your reading speed. Reading speed is an integral part of any competitive exams.  Develop a liking to read books and learn from it. Read the topic of your choice so that you can enjoy reading or else you will never be able to read to understand.

Read whenever you feel free. Take a novel and start reading in your leisure time and you will enjoy the story. Do not think that you are doing it as a part of your exam preparation. Just read to enjoy and feel the difference. Once you have developed the habit of reading, fix a particular time to continue with the constructive reading practice. 
        
In case you cannot afford to buy new books to read, look for the old books and buy them at a meager price. Reading is a must, continue with this habit. You can also subscribe to any website who publishes stories and article. Read from there and you can get enough material to read and understand regularly.

Maintain the list of books you have read so far and compare the time taken to complete it. Re-read it and then monitor the speed, you will realize that your reading speed has increased. Repeated reading will surely help you get the right speed of reading.

Once you have developed the habit of reading you can do wonders in getting a comfortable career ride of your lifetime. It will improve your knowledge, language proficiency and vocabulary. This is the basic requirement of any government competitive job exam.
